Schools at Picco

A unique experience for Spezia's school students.

Scuole al Picco is one of Spezia Calcio's most eagerly awaited events, an initiative that offers students from local primary and secondary schools the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive experience inside the stadium. Sponsored by the City of La Spezia, this event involves young participants in an immersive adventure into the history and tradition of the team, making football an opportunity for learning and fun.

During the day, students have the opportunity to explore the most iconic and evocative areas of the stadium, from the prestigious changing rooms to the tunnel leading into the pitch, experiencing the thrill of feeling like footballers for a day, ready to take the field like their idols. Among the most significant activities are the history lessons, which provide an in-depth look at the club's glorious past, with a special focus on the Champions of '44 period and the historical link with the city.

Another special highlight of the event is the quiz on the history of Spezia Calcio, where the youngsters compete in a fun and educational prize game, testing their knowledge of the club. Thanks to the participation of historical speakers and witnesses of La Spezia fans, the youngsters also have the opportunity to discover fascinating anecdotes about the team and the bond that unites fans with Spezia Calcio.

The programme ends with the classic entrance onto the pitch to the notes of the anthem 'You are not alone', an emotional moment that symbolises the pride of being part of a great community. To conclude, the boys compete in a series of penalty kicks under the Curva Ferrovia, adding a touch of adrenaline to an event that will remain in the hearts of all participants.
